Flueveg Offers Fifty Six Man Their Sole
November 18, 2004

Canadian shoe designer John Fluevog announces the release of his new "Earl" of Fluevog, the first of a new line called John's Signature Series. Designed for the sophisticated man with unique but discriminating taste, the Earl is available in a limited edition of 56 pairs, from John Fluevog Shoes by custom order only.

Handcrafted in Vancouver, Canada by Master Shoemaker Ken Rice, each pair takes three days to complete. The Earl is constructed with natural leather soles, hand-dyed leather uppers and luxurious leather linings. Individually cut, formed and stitched, they are exquisitely detailed bearing the daring lines that have become emblematic of Fluevog's baroque styling. The Earl is a square toe slip-on that marries lavish luxury with West Coast cool. Worn between day and night, with denim or paired with a well-cut suit, the Earl is a statement shoe that will last a lifetime. The owner is given a choice of seven different leather finishes: black, grey, blue, green, tan, purple or burgundy, combined with a choice of brass or silver wire trim. Sizes are available in US men's six through 14. Each pair is individually numbered, personalized with the owner's name and signed by John Fluevog.

The Earl of Fluevog can be viewed and purchased at one of eight North American John Fluevog Shoes stores or online at www.fluevog.com. Delivery is four to six weeks from the time of order. The Earl costs $900 USD and $1200 CAD
